Manchester United winger Ashley Young divulged that he is part of the cool corner in the club’s dressing room along with skipper Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly. The 31-year-old is not a regular in United’s first team since Jose Mourinho took charge and has made just 7 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
However, the former Aston Villa player quipped that he is still one of the key figures in the United dressing room. “Now Eric [Bailly] is there, me, Wazza [Rooney] and Ibra, which grabs the attention of the rest of the squad,” said Young. “It's quite a cool corner actually, it's the corner that everyone looks over, like: 'Oh, what's going on over there?.”
Young, who is the team ‘DJ’, reckons why the corner is the centre of attention might also be down to the fact that it has numerous plug sockets. “I think it's because we have the plug sockets as well and everyone wants to charge phones and laptops before they travel,” he added. “Yeah, that might be it.”

Young has been the subject of interest from a number of premier league clubs and with Jose Mourinho keen on trimming his squad down, the 31-year-old might as well be on his way out of the club. Watford, Everton, Swansea and West Brom are all interested in securing his services.
Hornets manager Walter Mazzarri is keen on adding a winger to his ranks and a return to boyhood club Watford would be tempting for Young. He has not featured for the Red Devils since the 3-1 away win at Swansea and if he wants to get game time under his belt, a move away from Old Trafford is the obvious solution.
Young moved to Old Trafford in the 2011 summer transfer window for £15 million from Aston Villa and has the won the Premier League, the FA Cup and three community shields during his time at the club. Young has made 149 appearances for United in all competitions registering 14 goals and 31 assists.
However, the 31-year-old might not be the only player to leave the club in January as Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial, and Sam Johnstone are all rumoured to leave the red half of Manchester next month. AS Roma and Everton are keen on Depay and numerous MLS sides are interested in Bastian Schweinsteiger.
