The determination of Toby Alderweireld to join Manchester United is such that he is going to run down his Spurs contract if he isn’t allowed to sign for the Red Devils this summer.

According to Mirror, the Belgian will run down his contract, which has a £25 million release clause that will be activated in the last two weeks of next year’s summer transfer window.
Spurs want £75 million for him – a figure which United are not willing to pay.
Meanwhile, according to Diego Martinez, Toby Alderweireld’s move to Manchester United has been completed as “complete agreement” has been reached.
