Crystal Palace manager, Ian Holloway, has realised what an important asset Wilfred Zaha is to his team. Although a move to United is an impossible one to resist, he is very reluctant in letting that star player leave. But he hopes that United will come to terms with him and allow Zaha to play with his for the rest of the season.
Now if Manchester United wants to acquire the young whiz-kid, they’ll have to shell out £15million including add-ons and allow Wilfried Zaha to stay at Selhurst Park for the rest of the season. It has been reported that Sir Alex Ferguson has been making his own checks on Zaha by talking to the player to get to know him personally and professionally.
Ferguson already has Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani on the squad. But he may be ready to sacrifice Nani if he is able acquire Zaha from Crystal Palace.
One may call the conditions set by Crystal Palace as ‘steep’, but if United want him and SAF is putting an extra effort to sign Zaha, it would simply mean that he really lives up to his nicknames.
