#3 Manchester United hopeful of De Gea contract extension
Even though United have been very busy trying to convince the right players to make the move to Old Trafford, there has been a few internal complications that has caused Solskjaer quite a few headaches.
For starters, the contract renewal situation at United has not been ideal, with quite a few players stalling.
We revealed yesterday that Marcus Rashford had finally put pen to paper on a new four year deal.
As such, there only remained one player, who was yet to sign a new deal and whom Solskjaer would desperately want in his team in the new season - David De Gea. But it now looks like good news could be just around the corner.
The Guardian reports that United are still hopeful of getting De Gea to sign a new contract, even though the player and the club have still not reached an agreement yet.
The Red Devils are working very hard to convince the player to stay and are even willing to pay him a salary similar to Paul Pogba.
This means that the Spaniard could earn as much as £290,000 per week! But will it be enough to convince De Gea? Only time will tell.
