#2 Victor Lindelof
Manchester United former manager Jose Mourinho bought the Swedish centre-back in 2017 from Portuguese giants Benfica. After signing for the Reds, Lindelof struggled to fit in. Under the management of Jose Mourino, he started only 17 games last season in the Premier League. This season, the 24-year-old has emerged as an important defender for the Manchester side.
Lindelof has made 29 appearances so far in this 2018-19 season. Although Manchester United have conceded 51 goals (the most number of goals conceded by a team among the top 9 Premier League sides), Victor Lindelof has provided some terrific performances throughout the season.
Netting one goal and providing one assist, Lindelof has justified his place in the United's starting line-up over some of his teammates. The Swedish defender will be looking to win something big for the club next season.
In the upcoming transfer market, Manchester United are likely to find a proper centreback, who could partner Lindelof in the big stages for the Red Devils.
