Manchester United are reportedly targeting Newcastle United youngster Sean Longstaff. Solskjaer has identified the midfielder as a player he wants at Old Trafford this summer and United have been working to get his signature. The Red Devils have prepared a contract worth £15m for the 21-year-old and are hopeful of making him their third signing this summer.

The Red Devils have reportedly held talks with Newcastle over a deal, and are now poised to present their first bid. United are also willing to present the youngster with a huge salary hike. Longstaff will earn around £60,000 per week as per his contract, which is a huge increase from his present earnings.
The player is valued at £25m by the Magpies, but with no other clubs interested in the youngster, United are confident that they can get him for less than that amount.
