United have issue an apology for this logo

Manchester United have found themselves on a sticky wicket after fans suggested that the club had printed a Swastika-styled logo in their weekly fans email.

The Swastika has been tarred in the west, especially Europe, after Adolf Hitler decided to adopt the symbol for his party, which ostensibly used earlier for good luck.

Manchester United had printed the Nazi Swastika-styled logo in their upcoming feature titled “New Order”- a feature to educate their fans about the next generation players who they tip to be the next big things in European football. The logo, which was placed above Adnan Januzaj‘s head, attracted the ire of the club’s followers, prompting the club to apologise for the mistake.

United’s media head, David Sternberg, issued a swift apology to the fans, stating: “The creative is completely inappropriate; we apologise unreservedly and are taking appropriate internal action.”
