#4 Radja Nainggolan hopes to prove Inter wrong
The Belgian played mostly as a starter last season, earning more than 1900 minutes of playing time. He claimed 6 goals and 3 assists from 29 league appearances. Unfortunately, new Inter boss Antonio Conte has confirmed that the 31-year-old and Mauro Icardi were out of the club's plans.
Radja Nainggolan has recently decided to join his former club Cagliari, and he wanted to prove Inter wrong. He also hinted that getting closer to his wife was one of the reasons behind the move. Nainggolan's wife Claudia has recently been diagnosed with cancer.
“I’m happy to be back home. I made a choice, it was a little bit forced upon me, but in the end, I made this decision and I hope to do well there.
“I have other priorities right now, so it was easy to make the choice in that case,” he said.
“Now I’ll challenge myself, put myself back out there and try to prove Inter were wrong to let me go."
