#5 Edinson Cavani promises to see out his contract amid Inter Milan links
The Paris Saint-Germain striker has been heavily linked with Inter recently. Inter are said to want to target the veteran player if they fail to land Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku. The Uruguayan star was PSG's regular striker last term, appearing 20 times as a starter. He remained as one of PSG's best goalscorers with 18 goals.
However, Cavani's spell was hindered by injuries, despite Thomas Tuchel regularly playing the 32-year-old as a starter. Nevertheless, the former Napoli player has revealed that he is going nowhere before his contract expires.
“I already told the fans and promised to myself that I’d stay at PSG until the end of my contract. That is certain,” the player said.
“In the future, I could decide to go back to Uruguay, but football doesn’t depend only on you, as there is also a club and supporters.
“I am not thinking about a new contract right now, as we haven’t even discussed it. I am relaxed, whether or not I remain after the contract expires.
