No release clause in Ivan Perisic's new deal
Despite there being a strong interest in the Croatian from Manchester United, Inter Milan's sporting director Piero Ausilio has today revealed that there is no release clause inserted in a new lucrative deal for Perisic.
Ausilio told Mediaset, "Nobody denies that this offer from Manchester United arrived, but we and Spalletti wanted him to be a key player for us. Ivan never asked to leave and his new contract is the logical consequence of that. There was no need to insert any kind of release clause in it."
