Khedira to Manchester United – Done Deal?

- According to several reports, Manchester United are looking to sign Raheem Sterling from their rivals Liverpool this season.

Metro reports Van Gaal all set to spend over £100m this summer to strike a deal with the likes of Memphis Depay, Mats Hummels and Raheem Sterling.

- Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho is another name that is constantly linked with the Red Devils in the Portugal media as Van Gaal is still in the market for another central midfielder.

Portugal newspaper A Bola reports the initial interest from David Moyes to get Carvalho to Old Trafford did not materialize the way he would have like. However, Van Gaal seems interested in signing the youngster, having sent a scouting team to compile reports on his progress.

- Another sensational report comes from the German newspaper Bild as they suggest Manchester United are in pole position to sign Sami Khedira on a free transfer this summer. The Red Devils have reportedly offered a massive €270,000-per-week deal to the German midfielder to brush aside all the offers from their competitiors.

- Also, PSV manager Phillip Cocu has confirmed that United target Memphis Depay will leave this summer.

"That is unfortunate [Depay leaving], but on the one hand, we must as a club be proud because we have trained him.

“At some point, it becomes clear that he is ready for the next step. And yes, I think he is going to leave PSV after this season," he said.
