Manchester United plotting a raid for James Maddison
According to reports in England, Manchester United are prepared to enter negotiations to sign Leicester City star James Maddison this summer. The English playmaker joined The Foxes for £20m from Norwich City last summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made signing the 22-year-old his priority and has contacted Leicester City about his availability. The Foxes have slapped a €60m price tag on their star - a sum United are rumoured to be ready to match.
Maddison has also revealed that he was a Manchester United fan growing up which makes him all the more prone to a move to Old Trafford. The likes of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City have also kept an eye on him ever since he was a kid.
Transfer expert Duncan Castles has also backed Maddison to succeed Paul Pogba, who is being linked with an Old Trafford exit this summer.
