Paris Saint Germain plotting a bid for David De Gea
Manchester United fans may have had some good news to savour about Paul Pogba today, but the same can't be said about David De Gea. The Spanish shot-stopper is said to be unhappy with the club's plight and is looking for a switch. However, he is ready to stay if United make him one of the top earners at Old Trafford.
According to ESPN via The Guardian, Paris Saint Germain are ready to raid Manchester United for their star goalkeeper as a replacement for Gianluigi Buffon. The 41-year-old Italian is said to be looking for a move after just one season with Les Parisiens.
United already have a few replacement prospects in sight; they have been linked with moves for Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jan Oblak and Dean Henderson. Whether the Red Devils manage to convince De Gea to stay put is something only time will tell.
