Marcus Rashford's future at United is in doubt

Marcus Rashford was one of the star performers for Manchester United on the weekend, given his impressive display and a sublime free-kick early in the first-half in the 5-1 thrashing of Cardiff City. However, the emphatic performance from the Englishman is far from quashing rumours of him exiting the club in winter.

According to Express, Barcelona have prepared a dossier on Rashford and are planning to stop him from joining their arch-rivals Real Madrid. AC Milan are also rumoured to be interested in signing the forward.

Rashford, 21, will be one of the happiest persons in the United camp following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in the mid-week. The Englishman failed to secure a starting spot under The Special One, but with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer now in the hot seat, Rashford could be set for a new start to life at Old Trafford.

However, should his career again fail to take off under the Norweigan, Rashford could well be open to embracing the exit door at United.

Should that be the case, Barcelona plan to wait in the wings and ahead of everyone else in the queue for his signature.
