#2 Leicester refuse to compromise on their £90m valuation of Harry Maguire
Manchester United's pursuit of Harry Maguire has been stranded after Leicester City rejected a bid of £70m from the Red Devils. However, the Red Devils were secretly confident of reaching an agreement and talks had continued between the two clubs. Unfortunately, the results have not been fruitful so far, which has left Solskjaer, as well as the United fans, extremely frustrated.
Now, the transfer is threatening to breakdown as Leicester City refuse to compromise on their £90m valuation of the player. United have previously believed that the price is unrealistic and as such, were biding time to come to a decision. But recent events might ultimately force the Red Devils to succumb to the Foxes' demands.
Solskjaer has revealed that Eric Bailly will be out for 4 to 5 months, after he picked up an injury against Tottenham.
Eric has had an operation and will be out for four to five months. Hopefully we'll have him back around Christmas time.
This puts the Red Devils dangerously short of defenders ahead of a make or break season and it could lead to United overpaying for Harry Maguire.
