We had revealed in this segment on 21st May that in an interview to BBC, Thomas Partey, the Athletico Madrid Midfielder, had refused to rule out a move out of the club in the summer. The Metro now reports that the Ghanian Midfielder has a release clause of £43.5m.

The stunning information was revealed by Daniel Jimenez, Thomas Partey's agent, who was speaking to Passione. He tried to give a diplomatic response to the rumours surrounding his client's move this summer.
I can reveal that I have not talked to anyone right now, even though Inter Milan are a huge club.
There is a £43.5m release clause in Partey's contract. It is an amount that is too cheap for a player of his calibre.

As of now, we have to wait for the season to end. After that, we shall see.
There have been unconfirmed reports that the Ghanian's representatives have been in touch with an English club for some time, and it is thought that both United and Arsenal are weighing up moves for him. Now that the Serie A is officially over, we can expect a more concrete news some time soon.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
