Manchester United Transfer News: The Red Devils are negotiating with Real Betis for talented full-back

According to reports, Manchester United have begun negotiations with Real Betis for Junior Firpo. The Old Trafford chiefs have proposed an offer in the region of €20m - €30m.

Junior Firpo garnered interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City after consistent performances for the Betis side. The left-back flirted with a move to Santiago Bernabeu, but a hamstring injury suffered in December hampered his switch in the winter transfer window.

Madrid envisaged the 22-year-old as Marcelo's worthy successor but Firpo's incessant injuries last season dissuaded Los Blancos to persuade his signature.
