#3 Inter Milan offer player plus cash deal for Matic

Matic is reportedly in Inter Milan's radar.

This is one transfer rumour that might surprise United fans. ESPN reports that Nemanja Matic wants to sit down with Solskjaer and gain assurances about his place in the team next season, because he has apparently learnt about Inter Milan's interest in his services.

The Serie A side are already pursuing United's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and negotiations have so far failed to draw up any conclusions. In midst of that, it is reported that Inter Milan also want to bring Matic to the Serie A and are willing to pay United a player plus cash for his services.

Matic joined the Red Devils in 2017 in a £40m deal and Inter Milan are now offering Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan and £10m for the Serbian. Matic endured a loss of form last season for United and even though he was heavily involved under Solskjaer, his lack of dynamism looked a liability in the Norwegian's ultra-fast tactics. Now it remains to be seen if Solskjaer sees Nainggolan as an upgrade and agrees to the deal.
