Newcastle United want more than £50m for Longstaff.
Solskjaer's presence as the United boss has brought about a welcome change to the club's transfer business. No longer are the Red Devils looking for short term solutions, instead, United have targeted, young, hungry players who would form the backbone of the club in the near future. One of the players that the Norwegian saw perfect for his tactics is Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff and Solskjaer wanted to complete his signing before United flew off for their pre-season. That plan, though, seems to haveAndreas Pereira hit a roadblock.

Sky Sports reports that Manchester United are preparing a bid for the Newcastle midfielder, but also add that the Magpies do not want to sell the youngster and will demand more than £50m for the player.
Because Longstaff's contract run until 2022, Newcastle have the bargaining power in the deal. United have built a recent image of overpaying for their targets and almost every club have held the Red Devils ransom in the transfer business. Looks like Newcastle are aiming to do the same.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream.
