#3 Ed Woodward wants Raphael Varane at Manchester United
If reports from the Evening Standard are to be believed, Ed Woodward is keen on having French defender Raphael Varane at Manchester United. Jose Mourinho is a fervent admirer of the Real Madrid player, having signed him for Los Blancos in 2011 when he was eighteen years old.

The Red Devils will have to shell out £75m to get Varane. Mourinho is currently scouring the market for a short-term fix but it seems his requests will be rejected once again, as the United hierarchy have set their eyes on the World Cup winner.
Any deal for Varane in January is highly unlikely, as Real Madrid won't part ways with their star in the middle of a troublesome season.
