It is difficult to forget Jose Mourinho’s statement on Ivan Perisic during the World Cup. The Portuguese tactician said that “I don’t know why he didn’t come to Manchester when I wanted him [last summer]” while praising the winger for his physicality and power play.

He has once again been linked with Manchester United this summer but according to Inter manager Luciano Spaletti, Perisic hasn’t said him anything regarding his desire to stay or leave.

”In the last few days I talked to Perisic who finished the celebrations, he told me he is mentally tired and in terms of energy,” he said.

“He must recover but he has not told me anything that concerns his desire to stay here in Milan.”
