Off to Chelsea?

Manchester United had previously been linked with Jorginho but after a while, Manchester City took the lead to sign him. And now, it looks as though Jorginho won’t end up in Manchester after all.

According to Samuel Luckhurst, the reason why the Red Devils didn’t try to sign him even after watching him was that they preferred Fred over him. City were then clear sign him but their insistence on paying his fee in installments means that he could now go to London to join Chelsea.

Meanwhile, according to Telegraph, Liverpool want to sign Shaqiri, who has also been linked with Manchester United, and are moving to trigger his £13 million relegation release clause.
