If reports in The Star are to be believed, then Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is ready to offer goalkeeper David de Gea to Real Madrid in exchange for Los Blancos’ Welsh forward Gareth Bale. The forward has one-and-half years left on his contract at the Bernabeu and is yet to renew it.
It is also said that if Bale does move to Old Trafford, then the club would also look to find buyers for midfielder Angel Di Maria this summer.

If the Red Devils do decide to bid for the 25-year-old, then they might face stiff competition with current Premier League leaders Chelsea, who are looking to sign Bale along with Raphael Varane in a massive £150 million pound deal, according to the Express.
According to The Mirror, Spaniard Juan Mata could also make a move to the La Liga, with Valencia interested in signing him for £20 million.
