Manchester United v Leicester City - Premier League
Alexis Sanchez was sublime through the middle in the preseason. He combined brilliantly with Mata and was one of the bright spots of the dismal preseason for Manchester United. He carried his preseason form into the first game of the season but was let down by some slack attacking from his teammates, especially Rashford. Sanchez partnered well with the marauding Shaw and connected flawlessly with the midfield. He also switched places with Mata and attempted United’s only throughball of the game, when he brilliantly set up Lukaku with the goalkeeper at his mercy, only for the Belgian to miss.
Sanchez looks all set to have a massive season and all he needs now is a goal to settle the nerves. With Lukaku probably starting the game, Sanchez will have that target to aim his balls to and will find those pockets of spaces when the Belgian draws away defenders. The Chilean has been away from the papers for long amid all the chaos of the summer including the transfer rumours and the World Cup, and Alexis Sanchez will look at this game to announce his resurgence to the Premier League.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
