Thomas Lemar desperate to join Arsenal

According to the Daily Star, the 21 year old has demanded AS Monaco to let him leave for Arsenal this summer. The Gunners have made a £45 million bid for Lemar but Monaco are not interested in selling the winger this summer.

The French champions are worried about losing yet another player this summer after already seeing Tiemoue Bakayako, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy (close to joining Manchester City) change loyalties.

Daniel Sturridge rejects a move to China

Beijing Guoan made a last ditch effort to lure the England striker away from the Premier League but failed in their efforts. Beijing manager Roger Schmidt wanted Sturridge but the Liverpool forward rejected his offer as he wanted to prove his worth at Anfield.

Sturridge is not Liverpool's first choice anymore but still wants to challenge Robert Firmino for a starting berth.
