Manchester United winger Ashley Young has been been sidelined after sustaining a shoulder injury in his clash with Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris.
United boss David Moyes was furious when United were denied a penalty for athe tackle by Lloris on Young in his side 2-1 humiliation at Old Trafford. There’s no update for how long he will be out of action.
“It’s a shoulder injury he received in the challenge [by Lloris]. I’m not sure how long it’ll be,” Moyes said.
A furious Moyes, said: “It’s an incredible decision, in fact probably one of the worst I think I saw.
“The goalkeeper comes out, Ashley Young gets the ball before him and he follows through.
“If you follow through on a player anywhere else on the pitch with your foot high, it would be a red card.”
The decision probably went towards the keepers way, due to the wingers reputation of diving to win penalties and free-kicks. Moyes also failed to provide an update on the fitness of star-striker Robin Van Persie; who has now missed last 6 matches due to a groin injury.
