Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj has committed himself to the Red Devils cause and says his aim is to become the best player in the world. The player has agreed a new five-year deal with the club too, according to BBC Sport.
The 18-year-old has risen to prominence as one of the Premier League’s hottest talents after netting twice in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Sunderland before the international break.
The attacker is happy to stay at Old Trafford despite reports that his contract will expire next summer and says he wants to nail his colours to the United mast.
“I am happy at Manchester United and I want to commit myself 100 per cent in every game to do my best,” Januzaj told Sky Sports. “I want to help Manchester United win the Premier League and become the best player in the world.”
The Belgium-born star has also dismissed questions over his international allegiance and insists that he and his father will decide what is the best option, with England, Belgium, Albania, Serbia, Turkey and Croatia all available to him.
“It is my dad who decides which national team I will play for so I will listen to him,” Januzaj added.
Januzaj has made an immediate impact on his full debut, scoring twice against Sunderland in a performance which promises much to come from the Brussels-born starlet.
