According to Italian daily Gazzetta, Juventus have expressed their desire to sign Manchester United’s Juan Mata. Juventus chiefs Beppe Marotta, Fabio Paratici and Massimiliano Allegri have all traveled to England in a bid to sign Manchester United’s Juan Mata, claims the Italian daily. Juventus, have clearly expressed their desire to sign the former Chelsea player and are expected to fight vigorously for it.
The Italian champions have missed a creative midfielder within their ranks and Manchester United’s Juan Mata could very well fill in that deficit. After suffering a torrid first season with United, Mata has surfaced as perhaps one of the many standout players in United’s contingent. The Spanish International has been prolific in recent matches and has often been United’s fulcrum of attack.
The Old lady, has been linked with many players in this transfer window, most notably Spurs’ Erik Lamela and Bayern Munich’s Shaqiri. However, with none matching the required talents of Juan Mata, Juventus could very well slot in a 15million+ deal for the Spanish ace.
Juventus were also linked with the Manchester United star in the summer transfer window for a loan deal. Although Juventus would be more than willing to sign Juan Mata, it could very well be United’s decision to proceed with the deal, or not.
