In yet another Tv interview gaffe, Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, after the memorable 3-1 Capital One Cup victory over Sunderland, spoke to BBC about managing a club of the stature of City.

“I love pressure so to manage a big team as Manchester United and to have options in all the competitions is very good, is very beautiful for all of us,” he said.

The latest howler comes just 10 days after the Chilean proclaimed the Citizens to be the biggest club in Manchester.

Following the goal difference error he made after the UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich, this becomes his second high profile blunder in front of the cameras.
