Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford named Arsenal’s French centre-back Laurent Koscielny as the toughest opponent he has ever faced. In a recent interview with MUTV, the 18-year-old was asked to pick his toughest opponent. “Laurent Koscielny at Arsenal. He was a difficult defender to play against” said Rashford.
The 18-year-old in now one of the hottest youngsters in world football. The youngster broke into Manchester United’s first team after a string of injuries to their forward players. Manager Louis van Gaal picked Rashford for a Europa league game against FC Midtjylland. He rose to the occasion, scoring a brace to take Manchester United through.
He made his Premier League debut against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. It was a game that would probably be remembered for Van Gaal’s antics on the touchline where he tried to describe a dive to the linesman. However, there was much more to take back from that game as the youngster Marcus Rashford scored a fantastic brace on his Premier League debut as well to the delight of the home supporters.
Ironically, in the only game that Rashford has come head to head with Laurent Koscielny, the forward managed to net a brace. The striker also added that his biggest ambition in football would be to win the Champions League. He claimed that his proudest moment so far was his Manchester United first team debut.
Rashford has made a fantastic start to the 2016-17 season with Manchester United under new manager Jose Mourinho. The forward was initially benched for the first two games but came on in an important game against Hull City.

In the dying moments of the game, he latched onto a cross from teammate Wayne Rooney to score the winning goal. He has since cemented his place in the team as one of the most important players.
Manchester United will now travel to Anfield to face their old foes in Liverpool. The Red have had a fantastic start to their season under Jurgen Klopp with 16 points from seven games including wins against Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester City and a draw against Tottenham which means they have earned 10 of their 16 points from 4 of the top 7 teams in the league.
The last time Jurgen Klopp faced Jose Mourinho, it was Klopp’s Liverpool who beat Mourinho’s Chelsea 3-1. Jurgen Klopp has also got the better of Mourinho when he was the manager of Borussia Dortmund when he beat Mourinho’s Real Madrid 4-1 thanks to Robert Lewandowski.

Dortmund also beat Real Madrid in the group stage in the Champions League while the only occasion when Mourinho beat Jurgen Klopp was the return leg of the Champions League semi-finals when Real won 2-0.
