Juan Mata has been quick to play down the persistent rumours regarding his future at Chelsea and insists that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking after scoring another cracker against Arsenal and in light of being linked to a £35m bid from Paris Saint Germain in January, Mata took time to speak of his intentions to stay and do well for the Chelsea supporters.
He said:
“I am happy at Chelsea. I have always felt the support of the fans – in every game, on the street – I have felt the love from them. I try to play for them, score for them and make them happy. We have great support.
I want to play as much as I can, but if you want to win titles you need 24-25 players ready to play. Anyone can play any game.
I always train my best and try to do my job the best I can. I have to be ready to play at my best at any time and that’s what I do.”

I am certain Mata is happy to be at Chelsea 100% after having two of the best ever seasons and winning three trophies BUT, in saying that, He can’t be happy with the current situation.
I have little doubt that he sees his future here at the club but cannot be satisfied with being left out of games such as Manchester City last weekend.
Mata responded on Tuesday night by putting in a fantastic performance against Arsenal, scoring a fantastic goal but if any of you have seen the coverage of his goal and his reaction immediately afterwards, you couldn’t help but notice he kept saying “F**k off!, F**k off!”
I wonder if that’s aimed at the situation he is in or at a certain someone on the sidelines?
