Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini missed out on his team’s UEFA Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday due to a concussion.
Manager Arsene Wenger had brushed off his unavailability as a precaution. He has now said that the player will be available for his team’s match in the weekend against Crystal Palace.
“Flamini is available. He had no basic injury – it was just a precaution,” told the Frenchman to Arsenal official website.
He also spoke about youngster Jack Wilshere, who sustained an ankle injury and is doubtful for the the weekend as the player is yet to undergo tests to determine the extent of his injury.
“Wilshere will be checked later by the medical people and we’ll see if I will involve him or not,” said Wenger.
