Meet Bryce Brites : Youngest professional footballer in the world

Clubs are taking serious note of talents regardless of their age these days.

Barely able to say complete words and still only able to say “ba” instead of “ball”, this 20-month old toddler, Bryce Brites, is the youngest ever player to be awarded a professional contract. Belgian club FC Racing Boxberg have offered a long term contract for Bryce to play and train with their under-5 squad.

A coach from the club had this to say about Bryce,

He said “The way Bryce kicks a ball, you cannot see in kids who are four or five years of age. His ball control is incredible for his age.He passes left or right and his dribbling around cones is amazing !”

Young stars are being discovered all over the place these days, but this young star is a different level of young.

Bryce Brites is the youngest ever member of the Belgian Football Association which has seen a meteoric rise in the number of young stars in recent years with the emergence of the likes of Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and others.

Needless to say, Belgium have begun their preparations for 2026 world cup very seriously indeed !
