India and East Bengal Club midfielder Mehtab Hossain will not travel to Spain before the close of the summer transfer window due to his Indian national team commitments ahead of the SAFF Championship, but his Spanish trials have only been postponed and not cancelled.
Mehtab Hossain’s Spanish agent of Indian origin Ravi Daswani, who has been looking for options where to base Mehtab while he trains in Spain, has confirmed the news about the postponement.

Now Ravi and Mehtab are targeting January 2014 for the trials in Spain to happen.
Now Mehtab can concentrate on the SAFF Championship with Team India and then the AFC Cup quarterfinals with his club side East Bengal.
