Messi v Ronaldo 2012-13

This season we witnessed another fascinating rivalry between arguably the two best players in the world. The fact that both these players score nearly 80% of the teams’ goals in a season bears testimony to their invincibility in the team. Of course, I am referring to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

From a team’s point of view, Messi wrestled back the La Liga crown from his rival Ronaldo, while the latter finished the season empty-handed.
