Arsenal star Mesut Ozil completed his move from Real Madrid on the deadline day. Many Real Madrid players have expressed their disappointment at the club for selling one of the best no 10s in the World. But, Real Madrid management always seems to be harsh with the German international.

After their president, now it’s their new manager Carlo Ancelotti’s turn to take a blast at Mesut Ozil. Carlo Ancelotti claims that the reason Mesut Ozil joined Arsenal was ­because he was too afraid to fight for his place at Madrid.

Ancelotti said, “Ozil wasn’t ­comfortable. I knew he’d been speaking with another club ­because he wanted to leave.”

“Mesut understood that he had competition, that he wouldn’t be able to play every game – and ‘I’m off’ was his answer.”

“I prefer to have Angel Di Maria for the team’s balance. Di Maria is better than Ozil for group dynamics.”
