Michael Carrick's wife Lisa slams Roy Keane via twitter

Michael Carrick‘s wife, Lisa Roughead Carrick slammed former Manchester United captain Roy Keane after Keane criticised her husband following Manchester United’s 2-0 deafest against Olympiacos in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League match.

“Roy Keane what a **** says anything to provoke a reaction .. That’s all .. Done ..“, she expressed her outrage through her twitter account.

However, she deleted the tweet shortly after and added, “Deleted my tweet .. Emotions got the better of me .. Just disappointed.”

Lisa’s frustration were based on Keane’s post match comments where he singled out Carrick’s interview which he felt was dull just like United’s performance in Greece.

“That interview was just like their performance – flat,” Keane said. “I want him to say something.”

“Say a bit more, give a bit more urgency in his interview. It just reflected United’s performance tonight; flat, no urgency. He keeps saying ‘Well, next game,’ for some of them there won’t be another game for them. That’s the reality of it.”

It would be interesting to see how Keane reacts to Lisa’s deleted tweet, or is it going to be Mrs. Keane taking the matters into her own hand now?
