Astana visit the CSR Orhei in Moldova to face Milsami for the first leg clash of their Europa Conference League second qualifying round. The Kazakh side had reached the group stages of the competition last year and will be hoping to repeat the feat this time around.

Having overcome Partizani in the playoffs, the Yellow and Blues qualified for the finals, marking their first appearance in a proper tournament since the 2019-20 season. However, with just one win from six group stage matches, Astana went out in the first round on a whimper.
