Morocco's football team head coach Badou Zaki was on Wednesday dismissed due to poor results after stewarding the team for 20 months.
The departure of Zaki, 57, who was the goalkeeper at Real Mallorca from 1987 to 1992, was already taken for granted in recent days but the dismissal was officially announced only on Wednesday, reports Efe.
Not named new coach
The Moroccan soccer federation has not yet named Zaki's successor.
Moroccan media speculated that the next coach will be French Herve Renard, who recently terminated his contract with France's Lille, as he has a lot of experience in African soccer after coaching the national teams of Cote d'Ivoire, Zambia and Angola.
