Right Winger: Mason Greenwood (England) - €50 million

England's squad is stacked with attacking talent, but that isn't why Mason Greenwood hasn't been called up. Southgate has revealed that he's in agreement with the Manchester United star to leave him out until 2022 to maintain consistency in the side.
Otherwise, Greenwood has been solid this season, scoring four times in ten league games. Although the 20-year-old has only one England cap under his belt, Southgate believes he still has enough time to make a breakthrough.
Attacking Midfielder: James Maddison (England) - €50 million

James Maddison struggled to find his best form early on in the 2021-22 season, but he has recaptured his mojo lately. He scored the winner against Brentford last month. He also teed up Patson Daka for the winner against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League.
A naturally gifted creator with an eye for pass, the 24-year-old is a potent threat on the ball. But he will have to maintain this form for an extended period of time to earn a spot in England's set-up.
Left Winger: Jadon Sancho (England) - €90 million

Arguably the biggest star to be ostracised from England's squad, Jadon Sancho perhaps knew it was coming. That's because his transfer to Manchester United hasn't gone according to plan thus far.
He has struggled to replicate his Borussia Dortmund form, failing to score or assist even once in 13 games this season. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's rigid tactics are also to blame for that, though.
Striker: Richarlison (Brazil) - €55 million

We round up with the only non-European player on the list. Richarlison is set to miss Brazil games for the third consecutive month.
Everton refused to release him in September, while last month he was out with a knee injury. Now, he was not deemed fit enough to feature. Indeed, his form with The Toffees is enough to suggest he won't be a big miss. The striker has scored only twice in seven league games this season.
