Mourinho: Chelsea's masseur Billy gave team-talk ahead of Manchester City clash

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho revealed that it was Chelsea’s team masseur Billy McCulloch who gave the team-talk ahead of their match against Manchester City at the Ethiad Stadium.

“I didn’t speak. It was Billy the masseur that spoke to the team. He was screaming so much in Scottish I didn’t understand him. I am serious. But the players were clapping. It was Billy’s teamtalk. Billy was fantastic,” said the Portuguese manager.

“I am serious. The last time I spoke to them was at lunchtime. It was Billy’s team talk I’m telling you. Billy was fantastic today, I didn’t understand, but it looks like the players they did understand.”

Chelsea won the match with Branislav Ivanovic scoring the only goal.
