Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has claimed that the Blues possess two of the best goalkeepers in the world in Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois, and warned Barcelona that they will not sell the latter.
Barcelona are reportedly interested in Courtois as a replacement for the outgoing Victor Valdes but Mourinho insists that the Belgian is a key part of Chelsea’s plans for the future.
Mourinho also hailed his current No.1, Cech, who he signed from Rennes in 2004 during his first spell in charge of the Blues, insisting that the Czech Republic international is the finest stopper in world football.
“I don’t think many would disagree that 16 the world,” Mourinho told reporters in his pre-Cardiff press conference.
“It’s a very good problem, our goal is safe and, financially, we are also very safe. We don’t have a problem, teams without good goalkeepers have the problem.
“At this moment I don’t think about it, it doesn’t worry me. Our situation is fantastic and everything is under our control. We control the situation. Not Barcelona, Atletico, or another team who are interested in our goalkeepers.”
