#4 James Rodriguez
Joining the club on loan from Real Madrid last summer, James was on a mission to reignite his career. He had a very disappointing spell in Madrid, where he struggled for game time.
It wasn't a walk in the park for James at Bayern too, however. In the six games when Ancelotti was in charge, he played just three of them and started only once, but under Heynckes, the Colombian international emerged as a key player in the Bayern squad.
He has done so well, that there are talks about Bayern seeking to make the move permanent.
James has played 1,018 out of a possible 1,350 minutes under Heynckes, second to Robert Lewandowski. He has created 34 chances under Heynckes, the most by any Bayern player. Joshua Kimmich, the next on the list has generated 11 less. He has also scored four times and provided six assists in Bundesliga.
