Struggling I-league side Mumbai FC have signed a quartet of IMG-Reliance contracted players in defenders Irungbam Khelemba Meetei and Peter Costa, midfielder Naduparambil Pappachan Pradeep besides striker M. Mohammed Rafi until the end of the 2013/14 season to bolster their squad.
Yesterday it was reported that Former Indian international N.P. Pradeep had joined Mumbai FC on loan and was the first one from the quartet to officially sign for Mumbai FC.
Now N.P. Pradeep is joined by Irungbam Khelemba Meetei, Peter Costa and M. Mohammed Rafi at Mumbai FC with the club also in negotiations with IMG-Reliance about the signing of former East Bengal winger Sanju Pradhan on loan.
For Peter Costa the signing for Mumbai FC means the return to his former club, while N.P. Pradeep and Mohammed Rafi have experience of playing for former Mumbai-side Mahindra United, while Irungbam Khelemba Meetei had played a season for another Mumbai-side in Air India.
