Two South Mumbai youngsters chosen to train at Queens Park Rangers in 2014

As part of the Milind Deora-Queens Park Rangers promoted 5th South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger 2013, two youngsters earned a once-in-a-lifetime trip to QPRs Academy in West London in 2014 for a three week period.

Thirteen year olds Aman Gaikwad (Holy Name High School, Colaba) and Kamran Ansari (Antonio DeSouza High School, Byculla) were selected were selected from amongst 40 kids who had been chosen from the 5th South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger for the four day camp conducted by Richard Allen (Head of Academy, QPR) and David Baker (Head of Education, QPR).

According to Mr Allen both these boys showed tremendous skills and temperament besides demonstrating positive attitude both on and off the field which made them stand out amongst the 40 kids, who were part of this training camp.

Milind Deora (South Mumbai, Member of Parliament & Honorable Minister of State, IT & Shipping) presided over the function and presented the winners jerseys to the two children who will leave for the QPR Academy in London in April 2014.
