Namibia and Seychelles clash at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium in Gqeberha, South Africa on Wednesday for their final group fixture of the 2024 COSAFA Cup. With four points in two games, Namibia are currently second in Group C and could possibly reach the semi-finals, depending on how other runners-up teams fare.
Having begun their campaign with a dour goalless stalemate against Angola, the Brave Warriors breathed life into their efforts to progress with a 2-1 defeat of Lesotho on Monday.
Ivan Kamberipa put them ahead 38 minutes into the kick-off, but Neo Mokhachane equalized for Angola within 10 minutes of the second half. It seemed like the clash would go down to the wire, but Bethuel Muzeu restored Namibia's lead in the 69th minute, which eventually proved enough to win the game, as Angola couldn't fight their way back into the tie.

On the other hand, Seychelles went down 3-2 to Angola on Monday. Having fallen behind just nine minutes into the game, the Pirates fought back through Johan Gamatice and Brandon Labrosse to lead 2-1.
However, the island side weren't able to hold on to their lead. They conceded twice more, with Depu bringing up his double with an equalizer in the 58th minute before Maestro struck the winner in the final quarter of the game for the Black Sable Antelopes.
It left the Seychelles with just a point in their cup campaign after two games, having only managed a draw against Lesotho in their first group fixture.
