Napoli sign Duvan Zapata from Estudiantes

Napoli have completed the signing of Colombian winger Duvan Zapata

Napoli have a completed a deal to sign Colombian winger Ducan Zapata from Argentine side Estudiantes. Zapata scored 13 goals in Argentina’s top division last season.

The 22-year-old winger played for Colombia’s U20 side in 2011 and will join Rafael Benitez’s Napoli squad following a medical.

“We’ve agreed the purchase of Zapata,” the Serie A club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis said on his Twitter feed on Friday. “The player is on his way to Naples for the medical.”
