Nemanja Vidic’s poor form for Serie A side Inter Milan has been a growing concern for both the player and the club as the Nerazzurri succumbed to a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Cagliari at the San Siro.
Reputation of being one of the best defenders seems to be getting into the Serbian’s head who was sent off during his debut match for Inter against Torino. Vidic showed his displeasure at one of the referee’s decision by sarcastically applauding him instead, thus earning a red in the process. He had earlier given away a penalty after a clumsy tackle on Andrea Cossu which was saved by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
Coming back from suspension, Vidic featured in Inter’s 1-1 draw with Palermo, and was the person to be blamed for Palermo’s goal after allowing Franco Vazquez to score in the opening minutes of the match.
Vidic’s mistake that led to Vazquez’s opener
The nightmare continued as he conceded yet another penalty during Inter’s 4-1 home defeat to Cagliari.

Inter currently stand 4th in the table with 8 points from five matches, surprisingly similar to Vidic’s former club, Manchester United’s fate who have 8 points from six games instead.
