Youri Tielemans will be a player this summer who will be among many of the European top club's transfer shortlist. The current on-loan Leicester City star has enjoyed a fantastic spell at the King Power Stadium and the impact he has had on the team has coincided with the impact new manager Brendan Rodgers has had.

Tielemans has all the qualities needed to reach the top of the game. In a creative role in the heart of the midfield, Tielemans can dictate the tempo of a game and with pace in a team, he will certainly push a team higher up the pitch. His loan spell has almost been an audition for the top clubs who were perhaps reluctant to take a chance on the former Anderlecht youngster.

Independent reports that Brendan Rodgers will do all he can to make Tielemans a permanent member of his Leicester City squad and who can blame him? Tielemans has such quality on the ball, finding passes that others can not, the technique with his shots, his decision making the final third, and the weight of paces on his passes. His technical ability is clear for everyone to see and that is why there could be a real scramble to acquire his signature in this upcoming summer transfer window.

Manchester United has been reported to be interested in Tielemans and this is a signature that the club really needs to push forward with. You can't compare Tielemans with the quality of Paul Scholes, but if the Old Trafford hierarchy could attract the Belgian playmaker to the club this would certainly be the most technical central midfielder the club has acquired since Scholes. This could be a real gem of a signing if Manchester United and Solskjaer pursued and got over the line.
