The Manchester United midfield lacks dynamism, energy and power, it has done for a number of years now, and this is something they could add with Frank Kessie.

The AC Milan and Ivory Coast midfielder is a player who has attracted interest among the Premier League with Arsenal rumoured to be interested in the midfielder. The energetic 22-year-old has been one of very few positives from the last two season with the Rossoneri. Physically, Kessie has the attributes to adjust to life in the Premier League with ease, he possesses a good reading of the play in a midfield trio especially where he has more effect going box to box, however, he has the ability to drop in and hold the midfield.

Manchester United need a presence in their midfield consistently and Kessie could bring energy to win the ball high up the pitch, allowing Solskjaer to play high press tactics which would certainly excite the Old Trafford crowd.

Kessie might not have the same quality on the ball as the players around him but he could be a pivotal player moving forward for the club, or even a player in the same mould. AC Milan will sign the Ivory Coast man for a reported €28 million this summer, offering a profit for Kessie might just be enough to secure his signature. He is a player who will attract further attention and he might not be considered a high profile name for a club in the stature of Manchester United but his quality would shine at Old Trafford.
